"My name's Melody, but please, call me Mel. If you should ever need someone to talk to, don't hesitate at all to come and talk to me. I'll always listen."

I uh… have quite a bit of explaining to do. I suppose I should start with why I haven’t been active in a while. Money problems, really. No internet at the moment. Can’t afford to have it and I don’t have much time here at the library. I’m really sorry guys. But I promise to reply to things as soon as I possibly can.

Mel set Midnight down on the floor and nodded. She didn’t mind if they stayed out later than that, she would certainly enjoy Mello’s company. “Alright, let me feed her and I uh… should change.” She was wearing just a t-shirt and sweatpants, not exactly something she wore when she went out.

"Sure, sure." The blonde nodded, understanding she’d probably want to take a shower or get changed, whatever it was girls did… "I’ll go wait for you in my car." He pointed his thumb to the door. "It’s not too far away, so I’ll bring it up to your drive in about fifteen to twenty minutes?" He smiled at her before heading to the door.

"Jeez, it doesn’t take me that long to change." She giggled. She wasn’t one to put on make-up or spend a long time standing in front of her closet, trying to figure out what to wear. Besides, she wasn’t going to wear anything fancy, just a skirt and a simple blouse.

"I’ve left her alone here before. Sometimes longer than I anticipate to." She replied, mumbling the last sentence. "I can just give her some food, maybe some extra depending on how long we’re going to be out."

"Sure." He smiled at her, itching the back of his neck awkwardly. "Only an hour or two… Three at the most." He mumbled, looking down at his boots.

Mel listened to his plan and smiled. “Sounds great to me!” She nodded. “But why should we bring her along? I mean, I don’t mind. Just curious. I don’t know how she’ll react to being in a car.”

"Good, good." Mello looked at the kitten and handed her back to Mel. "I don’t know? I thought maybe you wouldn’t want to leave her alone here… But, if you don’t mind and would rather leave her… I don’t mind." He shrugged, mumbling his words slightly.

I actually get very disoriented if there’s no About or other information. It’s like jumping straight into a relationship without a “Hello nice to meet you”.

"Thank you." She smiled. "You don’t have to do that. I don’t mind cooking or anything." Although, she hadn’t been taken to a restaurant in a while and she hadn’t had take out in a while either. "There are leftovers in the fridge if you don’t want me to cook, though."

Mello nodded and took her by the wrist, as he peeked out of the window. “Well, it’s still raining. So here’s the plan.” He thought for a second and took the kitten from her. “We go to my car, go to a drive through. Get some take out. Then we can drive some place night and eat, while it’s raining outside.” The blonde smiled at her nuzzling the kitten. “And we can take her too of course? How’s it sound?” He looked at her, his eyes filled with hope.

Mel listened to his plan and smiled. “Sounds great to me!” She nodded. “But why should we bring her along? I mean, I don’t mind. Just curious. I don’t know how she’ll react to being in a car.”
